Stephen is an international speaker and teacher. For over two decades he has been delivering real theology to thousands of Christians around the world in churches, universities, schools, festivals, political party conferences, youth camps, newspapers, magazines, television and podcasts. He is an historian of Christian thought, an expert on the work of Søren Kierkegaard and an authority on the political theology of nations and nationalism.Stephen is a guest lecturer for the Institute for Religion, Peace and Justice.

Cafe Theologique

Organised by Reading University Chaplaincy in partnership with the Bishop of Reading, and based on the popular Café Scientifique model.

It aims to bring contemporary theological thinking into the public realm.

All welcome of any faith or none.

Café Theologique is a place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, anyone can come to explore the latest ideas in theology.

In ‘normal’ times this event is held at Zero Degrees Bar, Reading, 7:30pm,m free admission.
