The readings are Epistle: 2 Timothy 4: 5-17 ·and Gospel: Luke 10: 1-9. These are the readings for the Feast Day of Luke the Evangelist . Appropriate to celebrate - as he is the patron saint of doctors and surgeons, given the increase in covid cases and the Nightingale hospitals being put on alert.
