You’re invited to join us for an afternoon celebrating the life and worship of St. Stephen’s Church Upper Basildon and in fact the historic Basildon Parish. On Tuesday 6th September at 1pm we’ve invited previous vicars of the parish to join us as we unveil a new board which lists the Vicars of this historic parish (going all the way back to the year 1264).

At 1pm we will gather for a light lunch and opportunity to say hello to friends of old, familiar faces and recount some of the old stories. Then at 2pm we will gather for a short act of worship and ceremony unveiling the new ‘Vicars of this parish’ Board. After this we shall return to the hall for coffee before ending. Come and share some of your favourite memories of the past and pray with us for the future of St. Stephens.
