There is no Evensong at Aldworth this weekend as we are all invited to a special ‘welcoming’ service for Revd Katy Weston at Midgham Parish Church at 5pm. As you are aware, Katy is a wonderful gift to our benefice and recognising her immense giftings, she has been asked to help out the Aldermaston Benefice for a 6-month period (we’re not losing her entirely, don’t worry!). I know Katy will bring a fresh energy and perspective to the churches in that benefice and her commitment to service and pastoral care will be huge blessing to the folks there. Katy will still be taking services here, but a little less frequently during this time. So come and join us for an Evensong service at Midgham parish church as they welcome her to their benefice.
